In February, we were delighted to welcome the community to Aberfeldy Village Square to celebrate Chinese New Year with a vibrant and engaging event. Residents, families and visitors gathered in the square to mark the occasion together, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere filled with colour, music and celebration.
A highlight of the event was the spectacular lion dance performance, which brought energy and excitement to the square while honouring a cherished cultural tradition believed to bring good fortune for the year ahead. The rhythmic drums and dynamic performance captured the attention of the crowd, making it a memorable experience for guests of all ages.
Attendees also enjoyed a selection of traditional Chinese treats, offering a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic flavours and share in the festive spirit.
