Aberfeldy Stories: Colours of Home will be featured at London Craft
Week 2023! The large scale textile installation made through low-waste, hyper-localised processes, has been co-created by artist Lola Lely in collaboration with the Aberfeldy community. The designs are inspired by the architecture and public spaces
of the local area.
During London Craft Week Lola will be leading tours through the installation and there will be
a pop-up exhibition in the Oxbow Marketing Suite from the 9th to the 13th of May. |

With International Women's Day happening recently, we're proud to
recognise the efforts of Aberfeldy residents who uplift and support their community. Shuily and Moni, dedicated volunteers at the Aberfeldy Community Centre, were featured in Stylist magazine for their outstanding work throughout the
cost-of-living crisis - organising healthy cooking classes and supporting various women's groups with various activities. Shuily's inspiring story is featured in our Aberfeldy Stories portrait and audio series. |

We are also thrilled to celebrate Natalie Dinsmore, the founder and CEO
of More Life Home, who received the prestigious WISE100 Star of
the Future Award which recognises new leaders in the social sector. Natalie's London-based social enterprise redistributes furniture and clothing that would otherwise end up in landfills. Since opening its store on Aberfeldy Street as part
of our START HERE programme, More Life Home has saved an
impressive 130 tonnes of furniture, recycled 95% of items donated, and supported 650 households. |
